Bio

Claudia Revé Romero was born in Sagua de Tánamo, Holguín, Cuba. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of the Arts of Cuba in La Habana.

Claudia was part of the Contemporáneo Woodwind Quintet during her undergraduate years. This chamber ensemble won First Prize at the Musicalia Contest in 2017. After earning her degree, she joined the Provincial Concert Band of La Habana and the La Lisa Concert Band and taught at the Paulita Concepción Elementary School of Music.

In 2022, Claudia started her Master’s Degree in Clarinet Performance at the School of Music at Georgia State University. There, she became a member of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Symphony Orchestra, and the Graduate Woodwind Quintet, and collaborated with professional ensembles such as the ATL Ensemble. The School of Music awarded her the Friends of Music Scholarship, the Dr. Llna L. Cofresi Chamber Music Award, and the Allegro Grant Fund. 

Claudia is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music at the University of Georgia. She was member of  the Southern Wind Quintet, and currently serves as the Teaching Assistant for the clarinet studio. She is the clarinet teacher at the Community Music School at UGA. 

As a freelance clarinetist, she is a member of Camerata Musica de Atlanta, and has performed with the Georgia Ballet Orchestra, Gwinnett Ballet Orchestra, Augusta Symphony Orchestra and Lawrenceville Symphony Orchestra.
